Who We Are

Mission, Vision & Values Statements:

These statements capture why Toronto Central Council exists, where we are heading over the next five years, and the values that guide our decisions and actions.

International Organization:

A common structure and bond.

Vincentian Spirituality:

Helping those in need is important and very worthwhile.  The desire to help the poor and others in need is part of what calls and drives the Vincentian (the volunteer, lay member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul).  The member also views this service as a way of acting on their faith and responding to God’s call to love God and our neighbour.  This article attempts to define the essence of Vincentian spirituality.

Our Board & Staff:

A small, dedicated staff works to support the members and Conferences in their work and to implement the decisions and priorities of the Board.

Organization Chart:

The chart outlines the structure of the staff and Board components of Toronto Central Council and its relationship to the Conferences and Particular Councils.

Policies:

Membership Policy
Screening/Risk Management Policy
Guidelines for New Members Under 18 Years of Age
Conflict of Interest Policy
Hiring & Remuneration Policy
