Helping
those in need is important and very worthwhile. The desire to help the poor and others in need is part
of what calls and drives the Vincentian (the volunteer, lay
member of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul). The member also views this service as a way of acting
on their faith and responding to God’s call to love God and
our neighbour.This

spirituality.

The Plan was
developed in 2005 with extensive member input and has guided
the Board's priority efforts over the past four years. A new
Strategic Planning Committee has been struck and it is
currently in the process of getting input toward the
development of a new Plan that will guide our efforts over
the next 3-5 years.
